La chaîne américaine AMC ven de mettre en ligne une toute nouvelle video promotionnelle de la troisième et dernière part of the last season of the series «The Walking Dead» which will be released on October 2 at the Etats-Unis et des lendemain sur OCS en France.

One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of action. The American channel AMC has published a new video to announce the next broadcast of the last eight episodes of the 11th and final season of “The Walking Dead”.

Sporting an eerie orange hue, this new trailer begins with the eerie ticking of a clock and the words written on the screen that read, “If you’ve seen any part of her journey, don’t miss the latest episodes.”

We discover that the heroes will have to fight for their future in the Commonwealth, that community of survivors of the zombie apocalypse that has managed to rebuild a semblance of society.

As a horde of walkers (able to scale walls and even open doors) approach, Eugene (Josh McDermitt), likely charged with high treason by Pamela Milton, appears in court. At the same time, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) battle outside against Lance Hornsby’s (Josh Hamilton) army, while Carol (Melissa McBride) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) they must survive. in a community plagued by chaos and riots.

Race against the clock

Indeed, it is a race against the clock that opens, to stay alive, but also to extract those still in the Commonwealth, before Hornsby (Hamilton) can exact his revenge. Connie’s (Ridloff) article, by exposing corruption, in hopes of creating a better and more equitable life for all, has put everyone at risk. Each group seems entangled in already uncontrollable situations, but threats still lurk around every corner…

“There’s a pretty clear emotional drive, and we really focused on having fun twists and action and adventure. But really, we wanted to capture the heart, because I think that’s such a big part of the show,” showrunner Angela Kang told Dead Talk Live about the final eight episodes.

To make fans’ mouths water, director Greg Nicotero spoke about the spectacular side of the latest episode in an interview for Esquire magazine. “I felt the weight of the pressure on me and I’m proud of what we did. […] Although the script said ‘two or three zombies’, he needed 200 or 300 more. It’s a pretty amazing episode. I put all my heart and soul into it. It was hard. One day I said to Norman, ‘Dude, if I can get through this, I can do anything. I can direct a ‘Star Wars’ movie, I can direct anything that gets in my way.’ I’m proud of it.”

At the end of July, OCS had already unveiled a first trailer for this third and final part of season 11, which will be broadcast from October 2 on the other side of the Atlantic and the next day in France by OCS in France.

all the silly zombies

The most famous zombie series in the world, and one of the most popular shows of its generation, “The Walking Dead” will have relaunched the zombie trend on the small and big screen (“World War Z”, “iZombie”, “Z Nation ”…).

After eleven years of apocalypse that made stars Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, fans are sad that the end sounds, but they can take comfort.

Because if the parent series, based on Robert Kirkman’s comics, is indeed coming to an end, the franchise is not going to do the same… In season 8 of “Fear the Walking Dead” already in production, other projects: a spin-off with Daryl (Norman Reedus) whose filming began in Paris, a spin-off series centered on Maggie and Negan (much to the annoyance of Jeffrey Dean Morgan), as well as a miniseries about Rick and Michonne.
